Friday saw a fun packed day full of fund-raising activities for sports relief. There were three main events the young people could get involved in:
A long distance cycle from Lands End to John O Groats….not the real thing! Bikes were set up in various parts of the school for young people to get on and clock up the miles all week. So there was a little spinning going on between lessons and at lunch. The young people and staff all participated.
A sponsored run or walk. Here at Underley our drive is over a mile long. So the young people all took part in a mass run or walk, depending on their preference to the main gates and back.
And finally all young people and staff were able to come to school in either their PJs or dressed for their favourite sport for a small donation.
We are still counting up the money, but the events were a huge success – thanks to everyone involved!
