Garden School have embraced Pride month and have been completing activities and discussions to learn more about what it is, who it celebrates and their own feelings surrounding it. They have been developing their own understanding of it’s history and the change which as occurred as a direct impact of it. We have also enjoyed creating rainbow coloured flags, bunting and posters to show our support and we even made our very our ‘PRIDE FLOAT’!!!
We ended Pride month with a walk down the drive with our brightly coloured clothes and painted faces, waving our flags and enjoying our right to be unique. We embraced the differences in our community and walked our pride into Underley.
