Underley raises money for WWF

The fires in Australia are devastating – and the crisis is still ongoing!

More than 10 million hectares have been burnt, which is the equivalent of 40% of the entire UK.

Lives, homes, and an estimated 1.25 billion animals have been affected, including 30% of the entire koala population in mid-north coast of New South Wales. These catastrophic mega fires are worsening the extinction crisis we’re already facing.

Post 16 hosted a charity stall and raised over two hundred pounds for the animals in crisis in Australia. We made a variety of items in our Enterprise lessons, ranging from; koala keyrings to canvas tote bags. Cakes and biscuits were also available to purchase.
